Please welcome Scharlih, another balck bear. For him, I used the same pattern as for my award winning baribal Baby Hope but as I have run out of the other fabric I had to use a different one and found this beautiful, deep black faux fur.
If you should wonder about the name: I thought it would be a nice idea ti give my baribals Native American names. Unfotunately, I couldn't find any dictionaries in our local bookstores and then I saw those other books on my shelf: Green, with gold wrtiting from my favourite author Karl May and decided to "borrow" the names from his books.
Now, Scharlih is the way Winnetou, his most popular character, used to call his white friend and bloodbrother Charley.
