I still can't believe it....

but I had this wonderful phone call this morning, now it is on their website, so it must be true: My little Dodge just received a nomination for the 2012 Excellence in Bear Artistry Awards, the new British Teddy Bear Oscars.
I can't tell you how happy I am at the moment.
There are only three nominations per category and I know the excellent work of my British fellow miniature artists, so I didn't expect that I would have a chance to be nominated. I entered just because I thought I should try it at least and to see if  I REALLY had no chance, and now my Dodge is nominated. Can you imagine how happy I am?

Edit: I'm still over the moon about this wonderful nomination and would like to thank the judges, my fellow artists and the organisers of this wonderful competition and, once again, Mr. George Clooney for being such a great model. Because, little Dodge was inspired by "Leatherheads", a wonderful film that he did not only star in, but was also the director.

TBOC 2012 : Es hat gemüllert!!!!!

Mein Müller steht im Finale der Teddy-Olympiade!!!!! Ich bin ganz aufgeregt und freue mich riesig!!!!!!!
Die Aufgabe lautete, einen Sportler oder Fan bei den Olympischen Spielen zu machen und als großer Bayern München-Fan habe ich mich natürlich für Thomas Müller entschieden. Er ist mein derzeitiger Lieblingsspieler und nach diversen Niederlagen der letzten Zeit müsste auch der Rest der Menscheit begriffen haben, dass es ohne ihn nicht geht, weder beim FC Bayern noch in der Nationalmannschaft.....und darum ist er auch das Vorbild für mein Bärchen.
Nachdem sich Deutschland aber bekanntlich nicht für das olympische Fußballturnier qualifizert hat, habe ich ihn (mit Hund) als Zuschauer zur Olympiade geschickt. Dort darf er jetzt die anderen Athleten unterstützen und anfeuern und den (un)glücklichen Siegern die traditionelle bayrische Bierdusche verpassen.

TBOC 2012

I'm extremely deligthed to tell you that my Müller made in to the final of the 2012 Teddy Bear Olympics!!!!
He was inspired by my favourite soccer player Thomas Müller. As Germany didn't qualify for the olympic soccer tournament, my Müller and his little doggie decided to attend the Olympics as a visitor, to support and entertain his fellow athlets and provide the traditional Bavarian bear showers for the (un)lucky winners.
